maybe the following is still useful for you or somebody else:

It is quite easy to remove trackback spam in a Quills 0.91 blog on a
per-entry-basis using the external editor
(http://plope.com/software/ExternalEditor). With this product you can
open an entry in the blog archive with Emacs or another text editor
and delete the spam URLs.
