Michael:

  The plan for Quills 2.0 is to allow any content as weblog entries,
which would allow the use of RichDocument itself, and also facilitate
the creation of custom weblog entry types or behaviours.

For Quills 1.5, we're mostly just trying to make it non-broken for
many versions of Plone and have nice, clean migration code.  You can,
however, always override the view template for all entries.
