Howdy Jan.. Honestly, I don't have any multi-user blogs, so I can't even confirm or deny if this is the current documented / intended behaviour of Quills. With Plone itself, and with many addons, you may want behaviour other than the default, especially with workflow, which usually controls security. One of the great things about applications built with Zope and Plone is that workflow can be used to control security settings. You might take a look at the Quills workflows and consider changing / verifying that the following settings are in place, which I think will give you what you want: * weblog entries do not inherit modify content permission from their containers * Owner role has modify and possibly other permissions on entries in all places where WeblogAuthorRole does now * WeblogAuthorRole has no special permissions on entries * WeblogAuthorRole can create new content in Weblogs Maybe we should consider shipping an alternate workflow like this. I wonder if there are any examples in collective of code which integrates PlacefulWorkflow with alternatives for custom folder type-related workflows.
