Oliver - Frankly, if your site permissions are screwed, I hope you have a backup. It doesn't sound like anyone has been able to add content post-migration, anyway. ;) One quick test you might try is to create a throaway fresh plone 2.5 site in this same zope instance install Ploneboard and Quills, and use the Zope Management Interface to copy and paste all of the content into the new site. Hit up your portal_catalog 'advanced' tab, also via ZMI, and recatalog. recatalog, btw, does not mean 'clear', though 'clear and rebuild is a thorough, but usually, excessive, way to recatalog safely. Some things you might try in the existing site include forcing reinstalls of Quills and/or Ploneboard, which might fix up their workflows. Whether you do this or not, go to the portal_workflow tool of ZMI, dig through each workflow, open each of its' states, and look at their 'permissions' tab. Think about if it is sane, and if you feel adventurous, even look at their source code and confirm that there is a correlation between the two. If you modify the workflows, once you've saved them, remember to go to the front page of portal_workflow tool, scroll to the bottom, and hit 'update security settings.'. You can also try copy / pasting a workflow from another site, but once you replace the actual workflow object with a new one, afaik, and hit update security settings, the object is either likely or doomed to be set back to its' new workflow's default state. Careful there, and of course, backup, backup, backup. ;) On 10/2/06, Oliver Wrede <owrede at gmail.com> wrote: > Hello. > > I am having trouble ot make a new Quills 1.5 RC3 instance visible for > Anonymous.
