Does that mean you're about to cut a new release? :) yes, i promised aclark on #plone to do a 1.6b2 and *then* i thought "hey, while i'm at it i could also eggify the whole thing and put an end to the confusion that 1.6b1 created." two hours later i was finished with the eggs and had to interrupt the release. but i'll finish it within the next days > > >> i'm now in the process of eggifying all old-style products of >> quills. after consulting with wiggy and aclark on #plone, i'm >> moving each trunk to its new location, i.e. >> /collective/Quills/trunk -> /collective/Products.Quills/trunk/ >> Products/ Quills >> in place of the then missing trunk folder i'm leaving an >> explanatory README file, as wiggy did for the other eggified plone >> products. > > I understand little about eggs and buildout, but this sounds like > progress :). Thanks! the goal is that all people will have to do to install quills is to `easy_install Products.Quills` (or something along those lines, i'm still in the process of wrapping my head around eggs and pypi myself.) at the very least, in a buildout context, all that needs to be done is to add one line in buildout.cfg. so yeah, that's progress in my book ;-) cheers, tom p.s. i just caught up on the list: nice work on the 1.7 branch! > > > > Tim >
