When I worked for ACM, the greatest complaint about using Plone is
that there is no road in and no road out, only roads from Plone X to
Plone Y, and often poorly paved.

This doesn't solve that problem but IMO it's a leap toward that sort
of thinking.

I didn't, however, say I was going to do it this weekend, just that
it's been on my mind for a good year.  The original idea I had that
led to the roadmap item that you turned into QuillsEnabled was
inclusive of other blogging tools going a similar route.  I wouldn't
see it worth time to make an example of another until QuillsEnabled is
more solid.
